- eavesdropping on Italians’ conversations. The cadence of the language makes me smile.
- seeing virtually everyone with a cone or cup of gelato in their hands
- that the drinking water is delicious and there are public faucets throughout the city where you can fill up your water bottle
- that you can walk anywhere within the city
- that you can turn a corner and there are remains from 2000 years ago
- walking by the Trevi fountain every day and tossing a coin over my shoulder

I’ve already tried coffee, tiramisu, and ginger cinnamon. Our goal is to have red wine and gelato every day! 🙂

You must have gianduja (hazelnut chocolate), pistacchio, and stracciatella. Those are good baseline flavors to judge your gelato by 🙂

We’ve committed to having gelato at least once a day (and walking at least 10,000 steps a day to slightly offset that). I like coffee gelato so much that it’s always one of my choices. Will take your recommendations for other flavors to try. 🙂

Save those receipts for the coins you throw into the Trevi fountain – maybe you can get the duty free refund for them 😉
